1

What will you do?

Change my schedule so I work in the morning from 10-12 then take the afternoon off to spend time with Jack.

Then back to work from 8-midnight.

2

How will you test your idea and measure success?

If I am not exhausted, and am able to keep projects moving. Will try it for 3 days.

3

How will you know you are done?

Not applicable.

4

How will you enjoy the journey?

Hoping to do more activities with Jack during the day (and be okay with not being at my desk in the afternoon).

Liza Cunningham Its 9 pm and I am playing here on Edison. I am now ignoring both paid work and my child. Oh well, tomorrow night.

Liza Cunningham Okay, this has not worked at all. Instead I am taking Jack in the morning until noon which is great because I get to spend time with him. Then I work from noon until 5 or 6 pm, which is in fact a pretty solid workday. And I am not working at night.

Liza Cunningham This has made me realize that I have to forgive myself if my schedule is a little off during the summer. if I work 4 hours during the day, then a few more hours at night, and it changes every day that is okay. I just need to roll with it and appreciate the small accomplishments each day.
