Email Girl Scouts of America about BringIt promotion
Created Sep 22, 2009

Email the Girl Scouts main headquaters and ask them to make BringIt Signup Sheets an official tool that they recommend to their troops. |

If I can reach someone. And generally learn something about the sales process, reaching out to big organizations. |
3 |
If they say yes (or sorry, we don't do that). |
4 |
Reaching out to people always makes me stressed, so applying my "healthy sense of detachment" and thinking of this as information gathering. |

Matthew Cornell Boy, it'd be a big plus if you could get a name first to start with. I could not find anyone connected through my LinkedIn network - sorry. Maybe through Facebook?

Liza Cunningham Thanks, yes having a direct contact would be great. I wrote through the website and surprisingly someone wrote back. Although she basically said they can't promote businesses. Oh well, it was worth a try! I will try some press releases I think.

Liza Cunningham I received an email from someone at the Girl Scouts org. She said they can't promote outside businesses. Now I need to see if there are ways to pay to get the name out, or perhaps try another department. If there is anything I learned from living in NY, ask the same question until you get the answer you want.

Matthew Cornell "Ask the same question until you get the answer you want." I love it! Is the experiment over, or will you pursue them in different ways?

Liza Cunningham I will pursue in different ways, try other offices. Even if it means paying to advertise with them, the ultimate goal is to reach their troops. There has to be a way to do that.
