This will probably be on-going. But if someone says "hey this really helped my company" I will feel like I did my job. |

Its both exciting and nerve wracking to write my first document.

Brock Tice So perhaps I didn't understand what I read about the document, but what differentiates it from, say, "Don't Make Me Think", which is just over half the cost?

Liza Cunningham Hi Brock, that's a good question. "Don't Make Me Think" is a book about user experience design and how companies should adjust their thinking about their site content to fit the user's needs. This is all standard industry stuff and been written about quiet a lot. In the report I want to educate companies on design processes and give them a perspective that can save them time and money. So its about teaching the perspective and knowing what to ask for so you get the results you need. But I am interested that you were unsure of the value proposition of the report and that it compared to a book. So that is a good indicator that the marketing copy needs more thought and/or the price needs more thought.

Liza Cunningham I am going to change the price point to $27 and track how this performs with a strike-through. I am curious to see what happens.

Liza Cunningham I am going to change the price point to $27 and track how this performs. I will try a strike through along with changing the marketing copy to say: "Introductory Offer, with a price strike-through. I am curious to see what happens. If the sales remain the same or drop relative to the traffic, this will tell me the value proposition needs work.

Matthew Cornell I'm glad you're changing one variable at a time, price in this case. We can also do an A/B comparison with two prices, same ads.
