create a conference poster in two days

1

What will you do?

I will create a 3' x 4' poster for http://www.quantifiedself.com/conference/ , which starts this weekend. The deadline is tomorrow, and I started yesterday, so I've time-constrained it. The format is a dozen of us in a room where attendees can stop by and talk.

2

How will you test your idea and measure success?

My goal is to get conversations started with as many folks as possible. Deep conversations count a lot, too. I'll get answers to questions: How many folks will stop by? Who will stop by? What will they be interested in? Will the poster attract folks? Will it be a good springboard for conversation. Smashing success will be collaborations or a job/contact offer.

3

How will you know you are done?

When the session is over.

4

How will you enjoy the journey?

Be curious, be myself, keep it light, laugh, learn, be surprised by the potential created by planting seeds.

Matthew Cornell Having to scramble to change from single session where I'll be there to it being more stand-alone and displayed during entire conference. Due today! Really curious if people will engage.

Matthew Cornell Tomorrow's the first day of the conference, and the posters. Mine looks good, and I've practiced, so now it's show time. To manage being scared, I'm working on thinking of it objectively - scientifically, starting with curiosity about how it will go (see the questions in the details).
