Rapid Prototype Mesolore

1

What will you do?

Approach our next project from a totally new strategy using rapid prototyping/agile approach.

Instead of starting with design we will quickly wireframe then rough build the pages so we capture the basic tools, page format, and content areas.

We will share the rough prototype with the client so they can test it to make sure it functions correctly, and allow them time to move features around as needed.

Once we have the core working we will move to cosmetic design.

2

How will you test your idea and measure success?

If the tool is built faster and more effectively.

We don't waste time rebuilding parts of the tool and redesigning the front-end because the client needed to change the functionality.

We don't lose money on the project.

3

How will you know you are done?

When the client has tested the prototype and feels it functions properly for the first release.

4

How will you enjoy the journey?

Anticipate and allow enough time for testing the prototype. Don't get too invested in the design and interface early in the process (allow things to evolve).

Comments & Observations

Thumb

Liza Cunningham Success 1: We have already save front-end HTML time because we are doing rapid wireframing with the client.
