Matthew Cornell How's the experiment coming? Done? What'd you learn?

Aug 12, 2009

Thumb

Liza Cunningham I definitely learned that when I focus my attention on good things I feel so much better. My mood definitely improves. Observing and tracking good things has also taught me how to shift my mood. The power of observation!

Dan Owen Here's a related experiment at Enjoymentland that involves mood tracking: http://enjoymentland.com/2009/08/17/evolution-of-my-standards-project/

One thing I like about his method is that he pairs observations about his mood with actionable suggestions for either remaining productive while feeling that way, or for moving himself to a different mood.
