Increase my meds for two weeks. |
2 |
Track body temp, see if it goes up, without creating hyperthyroid symptoms such as noise sensitivity and restlessness. Watch weight gain/loss. |
3 |
If body temp goes up, weight comes down, and no hypothyroid symptoms. |

It totally freaks me out to play around with medicine because bad things can happen like my DHEA experiment gone wrong. But I know something isn't right so I need to keep adjusting. |

Lizzy 3 pm body temp was 98.6. This is good, first time in weeks my temp has been normal. Now watching for hyperthyroid symptoms to appear.
I spoke with a compound pharmacist the other day and he said with prescription medicine, the FDA allows a 10 % margin of error by the drug company. This seems huge! And explains why prescriptions medicines can work fine with one bottle of pills, but then not work so well with another. Incredible. Goes to show that observing symptoms and the body's reaction to medicine are super important.

Lizzy Concluded this experiment. I definitely become more hyperthyroid on the higher dose. And interestingly, my body temp dropped rather than raised. 2.5 pills a day seems to be the best dose.
