Matt will run an informal poll about the name options:
|
2 |
See how people respond to the name options. Do people agree unanimously, or is it divided? Does one seem more interesting or have a sticky quality. Ask people to talk about the name and listen for how they talk about each; does one name seem easier to say? |
3 |
A majority of the pollsters agree on the name. People start calling it by name. |
4 |
Accept that it might take a few polls to get the name right. Be open to hearing how people respond. |

Lizzy We have seen a split. For the Philosophy people like TTL because it explains the method. And several people also really like using "edison" for the tool side of TTL because it was easy to read, easy to say and people felt it clearly expressed what the tool was about.

Lizzy Some people felt it was good to combine TTL and Edison into one brand; i.e. TTL & the TTL Workbook. But others liked the separate branded names. TLL for the Philosophy, books, consulting, speaking, and Edison for the tool and knowledge-base.
