I'll hire a local company to create and run a set of four ads on time management/productivity to see if I can get any work that way. |
2 |
Test by tracking how many calls or emails I get after starting the ads. Success is the "So now I know" variety, since I can't control who ultimately clicks. My expectations are low - once we started we learned the keywords weren't very popular, but I'd be lying if I said I wouldn't want some work to result. |

I'll run it for a month, then decide the impact. If I get any solid leads I'll consider an ongoing budget to keep the ads active. |
4 |
I'll work to activate my curiousity: what results will we see? Is this something potential clients search for? If anyone contacts me, what will their story be? Etc. I'll also enjoy working with my consultants, who are friendly and knowledgable. Finally, I'll keep a rein on my expectations of success - I'd not enjoy linking my HappIness to getting work. |

Matthew Cornell Ads go live tomorrow. I'm curious , but strangely unexcited. I think that's because i'm convinced no work all come of this, an anticlimax after a few months of work, and a dear fee. But I'm also very open to being surprised :-)
