I will give my daughter permission to watch as much TV as she wants for the next five hours. Note: I'll still limit *what* she watches, but instead of our usual one hour limit (that's on weekends; 1/2 hour on weekdays) I'll leave it open. |

Matthew Cornell You should have seen the look on her face when I announced the experiment. "Really?" Per professional advice, I continue to look for ways to keep her off-balance once in a while. ;-)

Matthew Cornell Well, she watched most of the free time, which I somewhat expected. I did note that she wanted to cuddle that night. I point this out because I wondered whether she might feel lonely after screen time. But I think it was more her missing her mom, who's still out of town. Overall, not sure what I learned, but I'm still glad I shook her up a little.
