Matthew Cornell Excellent approach, Jonathan. That's a great way to lower the barrier to experimentation. I find that if I expect too much of the post, or try to make it cover too many topics, then I avoid doing it. Keep it simple!

Jonathan Maddison Hi Johan, yes I will call this experiment complete. However I continue to experiment with different variables - for example, I plan to try cold showers in sub-zero temperatures soon.

A cold shower in winter is extremely refreshing however it does require a lot more discipline. Cold showers in summer aren't nearly as invigorating as the water itself isn't quit... See more

Matthew Cornell Really interesting experiment, Jonathan. What to measure is a good question. Cleanliness: Odor, skin condition? Water savings: Liters used? Alertness? Anyway, thanks for sharing.
